But it’s the next best thing when you are asked to shelter in place during the COVID-19 pandemic, to keep you and others well and safe.
Here are a few tips from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that may help when getting mail, packages or food deliveries.
The virus can linger on some surfaces. But it doesn’t make sense to leave a package outside for a few days. Instead, always wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer that is at least 60% alcohol after touching packages from other people. This includes:
