I’ve had my pet for a while now, and I always enjoyed the companionship, but recently I started noticing something deeper.

Whether or not you pursue formal recognition, the core experience you’re describing feeling noticeably steadier because your pet is near is something many find meaningful on its own. Geometry Dash Lite

At first, my pet was just… my pet. But over time, I noticed the same pattern - whenever I got anxious or overwhelmed, he’d come sit right next to me or stay unusually close. No training, nothing intentional. It just happened. And the weird part was, sometimes he’d do it before I even fully realized how stressed I was.

That was kind of the turning point for me. I stopped seeing him as just companionship and started recognizing that he was actually helping me regulate in those moments.

I eventually went through My ESA Therapist to get an ESA letter, mostly to make it official for housing. But honestly, the biggest shift had already happened mentally - Just realizing how much support he was already giving me.

So yeah, that moment definitely changed how I viewed my pet. The letter just made it official, but the bond and the support were already there.

RE: I Didn’t Realize How Much My Pet Helped My Anxiety Until Recently

Yeah, I noticed my pet would naturally stay close whenever I felt stressed, even without any training. That’s when I started seeing them as real emotional support, and getting an ESA letter later just confirmed it. Geometry Dash
