I understand. Is prenatal care considered maternity care? If you go to Texas Department of Insurance at : www.texashealthoptions.com/cp/knowcoverage.html it states all Texas plans must cover maternity and newborn care. I will go ahead and send you a message.

Hello, Prenatal care is not considered preventive because you are already pregnant. Preventive care is the treatment used to watch for our prevent or watch for a condition or illness, for example a mammogram is often considered preventive because you are checking the breast for any signs of a potential illness.
