Saturated Fat: Vegan cheese may use coconut oil which is a saturated fat. It is recommended to limit saturated fat.

Sodium: Some may add more salt for more flavor, so choose a low sodium option if possible. Looking at the Daily Value (DV) % can be helpful for these areas. 20% or higher per serving is considered high versus 5% or lower per serving is low. This can be useful when looking at both sodium and saturated fat.

Ingredient label: Try to choose minimally processed vegan cheese with whole ingredients (nuts, seeds, vegetables, etc.)
