Coverage of side effects from out of network care.

If I am taking medication prescribed to me through a telehealth physician (not covered through BCBS; paying out of pocket), but encounter debilitating side effects requiring care from my PCP, will the care be covered even though the originating medication was not prescribed through a BCBS provider?
