Adding siblings to insurance plan

I am 20 years old with a Blue Cross insurance, and I have two younger sisters (ten and eight, respectively). Is it possible for me to add my siblings to my insurance plan?

Hello, This will depend on how you enrolled in your plan.

If you have coverage through your employer you'll want to contact your human resources department to make this change.

If you have individual coverage through the Marketplace you'll need to contact them.

I have family coverage and I am the legal guardian for my grandson. His last name was changed this past year. How can I get it changed to show the correct name on my benefit plan?

Hello, It would only be possible to add your siblings to your plan if you are their legal guardian. If you have a plan through an employer you would need to contact your Human Resources department to see about adding them to your plan. If you have an individual plan through us directly you can call the number on the back of your card to inquire about adding your siblings if you are their guardian. ~ Kayla
