Doctors declining BCBSTX?

Maybe i'm missing something... but why is it that psychiatrists are declining BCBS? After striking out a few with doctors that this site claimed to accept, I decided to ask why they (the doctors) no longer accept my insurance. I was told it's because they aren't fully reimbursed for their work. Is this true? Why?

We contract with numerous psychiatrists and process claims for them with the same diligence as with other claims and providers. If you could send us a private message with your member ID and contact information, we would be happy to help you find a provider in your area that is in network with your plan.
