Majority BCBS insurance policies end at the calendar year which is December 31st. Very rare do you find a policy now a days that end at the rolling policy month and year. i.e. February 2022 will expire February 2023. Those types of policies were more common back in the 70's and 80's. Smaller insurance companies could still be using these types of plans however. Its up to the employer to decide. You can ask your HR deportment also about expiration of the policy.
