I am a Type 2 diabetic. Last year, I have a continuous glucose monitor that i've had for the past year. I went to get a refill for the sensor and my doctor said insurance BCBSTX denied it. I cannot use the manual monitors because it caused blisters on my fingers that are not healing. Hence I moved to the CGM. How do I get a new CGM or get the prescription refilled? I need to monitor my blood sugar some how. Please advise. Thanks.
