I am in the Dominican Republic and need to take my son to the doctor at the Hotel they only take cash, do I need to contact BCBS before I take him?

    Hi Nancy, I wanted to let you know that we received the private message you sent regarding this situation and I have responded there as well.
    If this is an emergency situation we recommend seeking medical attention immediately. If it isn't an emergency situation we do recommend contacting us to be sure the service would be covered as many of our plans only cover services received outside the country in emergency situations. ~ Kayla
