According to our benefit booklet, my child qualifies for residential drug treatment. Why did Blue Cross pay for her residential treatment for only one week? Blue Cross "down-graded" my child's care to "partial hospitalization" starting at the second week . Please answer this question: How can a drug addict get well when they are told to go home (and live around all their drug using friends) and just attend intensive day treatment? How can I get Blue Cross to pay for true residential treatment for more than one week? one month? 90 days? Please help! Drug addiction treatment takes a long time!
