If my benefits are active and I've already paid for them, why is my ID card "not ready yet," and why am I paying for benefits that I cannot use?

Contacted your support team, BCBSTX, and was told that my ID cards are "not ready yet" and to check back in "a couple days." I can't help but wonder, if my benefits are reported active, and I've already paid for themn, why am I not able to use them for "a couple days?" This is inappropriate and scamming behavior. I should be able to access my benefits on the day that they start and my payment was successful.

I signed in with my saved password to see a message & was met with a screen saying my account has not yet been approved. Reset my password, twice, nothing. Signed in on desktop & mobile, nothing. I can no longer access my initial account, how do you expect to help me, BCBSTX? I just got this insurance after months of not having any and you have provided me with zero information on my plan.
