I just had my baby on July 1st, is he covered automatically or does my husband have to add him to the plan? He needs to see a pediatrician but I dont know if he is covered yet.

My baby was born July 1st and was in the NICU. He is supposed to see a pediatrician this week but I didnt know if he is insured currently or does my husband have to add him to the insurance from his job.
