My questions for BCBS: In regards to Blue Advantage Bronze HMO 005
Hello I am thinking about picking this plan. I want to know what my obligations are if I had a medical event.
I would like to provide three scenarios and see if you can help me with them:
1. If I incurred a $50,000.00 medical expense, what am I responsible to pay? $12,700?
2. If I incurred a $16,000.00 medical expense, what am I responsible to pay? $7,250?
3. If I incurred a $3,500.00 medical expense, what am I responsible to pay? $3,500?
If I reach my "max out of pocket" am I still obligated to pay for office visits after that period?
If I had 2 prior medical events and paid towards my deductible ($3000.00). Does that lower my future obligation?
