I am a former employee that was terminated in 2018. Will I ever be eligible for re-hire?

I worked as a Group Member Customer advocate from 2017-2018. Since then I have gone to college and obtained my Associate's Degree in Medical Billing and Coding. I have tried reapplying to BCBSTX as a Claims Technician because that is where my passion and experience thrive. I always get email responses that other applicants are being pursued. 

I have grown and matured as a person in the last 3 years, and I know I made a mistake. 

Will I ever get the chance to prove myself?
