I am retired ERS of TEXAS. Get insurance and pay for my husband who will be 65 in October 2016. I am now working at UT but didn't sign up for health insurance...leaving my insurance with current ERS. Which should I use? UT has Airrosti which I love. ERS does not. How to compare? ERS doesn't know about TRS and TRS doesn't know about ERS. I have visited and sent emails/letters.
ERS seems to have cheaper payments once my husband hits 65. I will retire before hitting 10 years at UT so will use ERS insurance for life (as I am currently doing).
Should I switch to my current employer? Stay with ERS? What about my husband?
