Begin with your Health Assessment, a Well onTarget tool that promotes healthy living. It examines your overall health and well-being and provides an instant, personalized report. Your report will identify your healthy habits and suggested next steps for improvement. You’ll also have tools and resources on the Well onTarget portal to help you along your wellness journey.
Your personalized report may suggest taking a self-management program that can help support a chronic condition like diabetes or COPD, or one that can reduce stress, help you stop smoking or give you tips on better nutrition.
With as many as 26 different programs, you’ll find a good assortment of health subjects that you can take online at your own speed. You’ll have the tools to learn about healthy habits that you can put in place right away.
These programs are easy to access through the Well onTarget Member Wellness Portal at wellontarget.com. You can also use the Well onTarget mobile app, AlwaysOn, to register and take any of the programs. Topics include:
It is easy to sign up. Just log on to the wellness portal at wellontarget.com. Then go to the drop-down menu in the upper left corner and select Self-Management Programs.
The Fitness Program offers options to get in shape and stay active. Choose from a nationwide network of more than 10,000 participating facilities. You can work out whether you are at home or on the road. Competitively priced membership fees are month to month with no long-term contract.
You’ll also get discounts through a nationwide Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) network of 40,000 health and well-being providers like massage therapists, personal trainers and nutrition counselors. To sign up for the Fitness Program, log in to Blue Access for MembersSM (BAMSM) and click on the Fitness Program Quick Link.
Keeping track of your physical activity can help you reach your fitness goals. Sync up your fitness or nutrition device or app on the Well onTarget portal to track your activity levels. You can find a list of compatible fitness and nutrition devices or apps, including Fitbit, Garmin and others* on the Well onTarget portal.

eating red meat is a great way to improve your iron levels. having a nice steak is a treat in and of itself.
WebMD has a good article on iron rich foods as well:
they put chicken livers and oysters as having higher iron levels, but i find the steak more appetizing.
I have a question, I have had problems with low iron for over a year and all tests come back okay just the iron is low. Is it possible there is some food or snack I am eating that is going against the iron?
