How do I get claims status without paper statements?
It’s easy! You can view your Explanation of Benefit documents online in your Blue Access for Members (BAM) account. When a claim has processed you can choose to get an email or text alert instead of a paper statement. You’re free to access your claims status online anytime and anywhere – even from your smartphone or tablet. In addition to using less paper, you could also help lower your risk of identity theft and health insurance fraud. Follow these simple steps to go paperless:

Q: How will I know my claim has been finalized? A: You'll get an email or text notification when you can view your statement online.
Q: What if I like to keep paper copies for my records? A: Let us be your file cabinet! Statements are kept online for 18 months. So you can view, save and print your statements whenever you like. If it’s been more than 18 months contact us at the number on the back of your ID card to request a copy.
Q: Is my information safe online? A: Yes. We use the latest technology to maintain the privacy of your information. With Blue Access for Members, your information is totally secured behind firewalls.
Q: What if I want to opt back in? A: You have total control. Switching back is as easy as updating your Settings / Preferences in Blue Access for Members.
