Try this dessert at your next family party....it is different and will challenge your comfort zone but, in a good way.
Chia seeds when added to liquid create a gel (like a pudding). It is a different texture but, the strawberry really compliments it well. Chia seeds are the "superfood" for November because of their amazing nutritional profile including a great source of protein and fiber.
Ingredients: Makes 5 servings2 cups plain non- fat Greek yogurt3/4 cup maple syrup2 tsp. vanilla extract, pure½ cup chia seeds2 cups skim milk2 1/2 cup strawberries, sliced
